It Seemed Like A Good Idea At The Time

One of the most visible benefits of Spark products is the ability to quickly and inexpensively change your company’s advertising message. For $135 per side, Spark owners can install new ads and graphics that completely transform the look of their truck. That’s a total investment of about $400 for new graphics on three sides. Compare that with the cost of wrapping a vehicle with your company’s logo and brand.

One of our Spark sales reps, Enrique Patino (Houston, TX), compares a wrapped truck to a tattoo. It may have seemed like a good idea when you had it applied, but one learns that you’d better really like the graphics, because there’s significant pain and expense involved if you ever want to remove either one. Wrapping a standard pickup truck usually costs over $4300, including the design fees, materials, and labor. If your company changes its logo, or you simply want to change the design, it will take over half a day’s labor (shop rates average $75 per hour) just to remove the old wrap before they start rewrapping the truck with the new design. You’d be without your truck for several days, and $5,000 later, you’d have updated graphics on your truck.

Completely changing the graphics on all three sides on any Spark model is a simple and affordable exercise. The posters can be ordered online from Spark or printed at a local printing company. It usually takes longer to take the ad poster out of its box than it does to actually zip it into position on any of the side or back ScrollTrain display units. And the posters cost so little that it’s common for Spark customers to add new posters when they want to promote a short term sale or attend a special event.

The best part is when you get tired of the graphics, or your company just wants to freshen its image, you don’t have to hire a tattoo-removal specialist to take it off.
